Michael Maloney

Michael has supported VERSA since 2006 and serves as Executive Vice President supporting the CEO and President in all aspects of business operations including contract execution, business development, strategic planning and key industry partnerships.
With over 30 years of professional experience in the federal contracting world, Michael has served in a number of roles beginning with direct onsite support through project and program level management roles and culminating in over 20 years of executive level oversight and leadership of business development, pricing, contracts, quality assurance, and corporate operations.  His executive level efforts have resulted in the growth of several small businesses to fully matured and reputable corporations with strong quality standards and strategic alliances for sustainable growth.
Over the years, Michael has supported numerous Federal agencies, spanning across the Departments of Commerce, Labor, HHS, Energy, Agriculture, Homeland Security, and the Department of Defense.  This support has included the successful completion of major IT modernization initiatives resulting in process efficiencies, increased functionality, and operational cost savings for customers.
Michael grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland and now resides in Beaufort, South Carolina.  He has earned both a B.S. and M.S. in Technology Management from the University of Maryland at College Park.
